22nd July, India—2020 is the year when the photovoltaic industry moves from subsidy to parity, and also the year of great technological change! Solis 255kW inverter launches in India to and is a complete success. Solis extends their sincere appreciation and thanks to all the distinguished guests who joined us for this event.

The conference of full of surprises hosted by Mr. Honey Raza, sales Head of Ginlong Technologies in India, featured expertise shared by Mr. Yiming Wang, President of Ginlong Technologies, Mr. Pranav Mehta, Chairman at National Solar Energy Federation of India, Mr. Idrish Khan -Chief Technical Officer Ginlong Technologies in India, Mr. Parag Sharma, CEO of O2 Power Private Limited. Attendance was very high and attendees of the Exhibition came away with a very positive review of the event and we trust this represents the beginning of a closer relationship with this important market. It is exciting to see that new technologies promote the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the photovoltaic industry, but at the same time, there are other numerous challenges and questions which project developers or IPP companies need to deal with. Taking into consideration all these requirements and understanding the market demand , Ginlong technologies has designed and developed an inverter for PV power plants; Solis-255K-EHV (“Solis 255K”) ultra-high-power inverter.

Mr. Yiming Wang, President of Ginlong Technologies, pointed out that the parity grid access requires more efficient component products and more reliable system solutions to meet the needs of downstream customers. As a publicly-traded company with a primary focus on string inverters, Ginlong has long insisted on being technology-centric and market-oriented, making full use of its own technological advantages. It constantly strives to promote the development of cutting-edge technologies in the industry and believes technological innovation is the doorway to a reduction of photovoltaic power unit costs. He emphasized that he hopes to take this new product release as an opportunity to cooperate with global photovoltaic project investment and development companies in-depth to bring customers a more reliable and efficient experience through product upgrades.

Mr. Idrish Khan -Chief Technical Officer Ginlong Technologies in India, introduced the four characteristics of the new 1500V inverter product to the audience: Efficient, Safe, Smart and Economic. In fact, this is also the common pursuit of all photovoltaic practitioners in the parity era.
This product adopts 12/ 14 MPPT design, supports over 200% high DC/AC ratio, and at the same time, the maximum input current is increased to 15A. Whether it is a 500W+ module based on 210mm silicon-wafer size, or a larger power module based on 182mm silicon-wafer size, it is the best partner for high-power and double-sided modules. In terms of safety, the product features a fuse-free design, which is safe and maintenance-free; the inverter reaches IP66 protection level, adapting to various complex environments. In addition, the product supports intelligent monitoring of strings through IV curve scanning, and accurately locates abnormal strings; of great significance for improving operation and maintenance efficiency and reducing operation and maintenance costs.
Grid Stabilities & Management is always a big point of discussion since long time and has been a big question for photovoltaics power plants. Since the power generated is the follower of connected grid supply and need to regulate the PV power based on grid authority regulation, so the plant control via Broadcast method to control all connection inverter at same time, which is able to support and do gird management in quick time, and also inverter is equipped with integrated SVG function to support week grid. Idrish said that Ginlong Technologies’ latest products have strong weak grid support capabilities, effectively avoiding Fault ride through function and support grid with reactive power in LVRT or HVRT situations, and at the same time integrated with reserve DC energy storage interfaces. We can be use to utilized to existing power plant as energy storage system, and further can feed power to grid for long hours even if the PV is not available.

Mr. Pranav Mehta, Chairman at National Solar Energy Federation of India. He talked about India Solar market challenges and opportunities and how ISA is supporting the Global Solar Industry. The renewable industry in India is witnessing aggressive bidding, so the current trends and requirement for higher capacity PV modules and advanced technology string inverters to maximize plant generation and achieve faster return on investments (ROI) are likely to increase at pace.

Mr. Parag Sharma, CEO of O2 Power Private Limited. He presented about challenges & opportunities of the local market of 1500V, 1500V technology is conducive to improving the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation systems. It will drive the development of upstream and downstream industries, further improving industry standards, and leading the innovative application of new photovoltaic power generation technologies. He discussed that COVID19 has affected the market financially and commercially. And how Attma Nirbhar Bharat will support the Solar Industry in India.
We are sincerely grateful for your support and company over the past 15 years. Providing you with the most cutting-edge products and services is our mission. If you are interested in our new Solis-255k-EHV, please contact us , we will arrange for someone to get in touch with you.
