León, Guanajuato July 27, 2022. - Solis endorsed it´s commitment to the advancement of renewable energies in Mexico at the fair Solar Power Mexico, event that took place at Leon, Guanajuato region known as the Bajio.

During the exhibition, Solis announced that it will bring to the country the next generation of six-series hybrid inverters S6-EH1P(3.8-11.4)K-H-US and S5-GC(50-60)K-LV, focused on strengthening distributed generation systems and smart energy storage systems  in the country.

S5-GC(50-60)K-LV is a new generation of 220V three-phase product. It is three-phase low voltage string inverter which is the world´s largest unit-power currently.  Specially designed for large LV-grid PV projects to reduce LCOE.  Including C&I rooftop, large-scale PV plant. It adopts 6/8 MPPT design to provide a more flexible configuration scheme with a smaller environmental impact rate and higher generation efficiency.  Max. 13A per string suitable for bi-facial PV modules, 170% DC/AC oversizing ratio, Remote & local intelligent I-V scan function.

“Solar energy through distributed generation (residential and small businesses), which consists of the production of less than 0.5 installed megawatts, multiplied more than 8,000 times in a decade and this year growth of at least 20% is expected”, Sergio Rodríguez, Service Manager for LATAM at Solis commented.  “In order to meet the rapid growth of the mexican market, Solis tailor-made S5-GC(50-60)K-LV 220V three-phase inverter. Solis new S5-GC(50-60)K-LV inverters are aimed at potentiating photovoltaic systems in distributed generation.”

“Solar Power Mexico achieved it´s objective of promoting green business and the renewable energy transition in the Bajio region thanks to the participation of 70 leading national and international exhibitors from the industry, where five thousand visitors had access to the latest technological advances related to renewable energies and sustainability, which as a whole helped to generate $262 million pesos of business on site”, highlighted Bernd Rhode, director of Hannover Fairs Mexico (Hannover Fairs Mexico, subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, organizer of Solar Power Mexico)

Thorsten Hofmann, director of Solar Power Mexico, said that the third edition of this fair held for the first time in León, Guanajuato, was a success. He emphasized that "In this edition of Solar Power Mexico it was possible to continue the effort to set up a great program of more than 30 conferences and specialized workshops for the photovoltaic and energy storage industry."

Stephen Miner, President of RE+ events (formerly Solar Power Events), said that "as of the next edition, Solar Power Mexico + Storage will bear the name of Solar + Storage Mexico because the event seeks to evolve alongside the global renewable energy development, with what we will look for is that the mexican market can adapt to emerging trends in this industry, such as energy storage."

Solis has fully anticipated the explosion of the energy storage market in Mexico and for that launched the S6-EH1P(3.8-11.4)K-H-US during the exhibition. Energy storage is an ideal solution to help compensate for an unstable power grid as well as protection from ever increasing energy prices. Solis is committed to a global vision built on product-centered engineering, putting customers at the center of our most critical product development decisions to ensure that we play our role in the transition to clean energy by helping make it more efficient, safe, and dependable.
