Solis to Make UK Debut of New FlexAIO All-in-One Home Energy Storage System

BIRMINGHAM, UK – September 2026 – Solis, a global manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage solutions, will showcase its new FlexAIO all-in-one residential energy storage system for the first time in the UK at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 22–24 September.

The UK will be the first market in the world where Solis FlexAIO is available for pre-order, with orders opening on 30 September 2026.

FlexAIO is Solis' first all-in-one residential energy storage system, integrating the solar inverter and battery storage system into a single solution. Designed to simplify installation while providing scalable energy storage, FlexAIO will be available in two configurations:

● Single-phase high voltage : 3–10kW

● Three-phase high voltage : 5–20kW

FlexAIO: designed for fast, flexible installation

FlexAIO has been designed specifically with residential solar installers in mind. Its stackable, modular architecture combines flexible battery capacity with integrated power conversion and backup functionality, helping installers simplify system design and installation.

Key features include:

● Installation in as little as five minutes

● 6–54kWh of initial storage capacity, expandable to up to 324kWh

● Integrated backup capability, supporting whole-home backup without requiring a separate STS switching device

● Independent DC optimisation for each battery pack

● A+ Grade Battery Cell using 314Ah cells; the cell manufacturer specifies a cycle life of at least 10,000 cycles 

● Operating temperature range of -30°C to 60°C

● Compatibility with Solis AI for intelligent residential energy management

The 10,000-cycle figure is based on data provided by the cell manufacturer under test conditions of 25±2°C, 0.5C and SOH 60%.

By integrating the inverter and battery into a single system, FlexAIO is designed to reduce installation complexity while providing a modular approach to expanding residential energy storage capacity.

The competition will be open throughout Solar & Storage Live UK, with the winner announced at the Solis stand towards the end of the final day, Thursday 24 September.

Solis to showcase residential, commercial and utility-scale energy solutions

FlexAIO will be joined on the Solis stand by the company’s wider portfolio of solar inverter and energy storage technologies for residential, commercial and utility-scale applications.

For residential applications, Solis will showcase:

● IntelliHome – a compact low-voltage battery storage solution already being installed in homes across the UK.

● FlexHome – a modular residential battery storage system designed to provide flexible and scalable energy storage.

For commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage, Solis will showcase EverCore, its all-in-one C&I energy storage solution. EverCore is being deployed across multiple European markets, with installers highlighting its integrated design, installation simplicity and system performance.

The Solis stand will also feature the company’s latest grid-tied C&I and utility-scale solar inverters, demonstrating the breadth of its portfolio across residential solar, commercial and industrial energy storage, and large-scale renewable energy projects.

Experience Solis AI and intelligent home energy management

Visitors to the Solis stand will also be able to experience SolisCloud and Solis AI through an interactive demonstration.

Solis AI is designed to optimise residential energy management by analysing data including solar generation, household electricity consumption, weather forecasts, battery state of charge and electricity tariffs.

The system can use this information to help determine when energy should be stored, consumed or exported, supporting more intelligent use of solar power and battery storage.

Solis recognised by BloombergNEF and S&P Global Energy

The Birmingham exhibition follows recent recognition of Solis as a Tier 1 global solar inverter manufacturer by both BloombergNEF and S&P Global Energy.
