London, September 1st 2025 – Solis, one of the world's leading solar inverter manufacturers, today announced the European expansion of Solis AI, its fully automated smart energy assistant built directly into SolisCloud.
Already live in the Nordic region, Solis AI is now rolling out to Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), with a wider European launch planned for mid-October 2025.
Solis AI takes the guesswork out of managing solar. It automatically predicts solar generation, learns household and business consumption habits, and makes real-time decisions on when to store, use, or sell energy. The result: lower energy costs, maximised self-consumption, and greater returns on solar and storage investments – with no manual input required.
Sandy Woodward, General Manager for Solis Europe, said:
“With Solis AI, we're giving our customers a real breakthrough – intelligent automation that removes the guesswork from managing solar energy. For households and businesses in Europe, this means lower costs, less hassle, and more confidence in the value of their investment. We're already seeing the AI hard at work in the Nordics, and we're excited to bring these benefits to Benelux and soon the wider European market.”
While Solis AI is the recommended “set-and-forget” mode, SolisCloud also offers alternative options for those who prefer a more hands-on approach to managing their system:
• Timed Plans – schedule charging and discharging around fixed tariff times
• Self-Use – maximise on-site consumption of solar energy
• Revenue Maximisation – optimise export to the grid for greater financial return
Solis AI is seamlessly integrated into the SolisCloud platform, requiring no additional hardware or complicated setup. Users simply need to switch it on in the app, with the feature available for systems running the latest firmware. Those without the latest version can request an update through Solis service channels to enable Solis AI. The update is aimed at those on dynamic energy tariffs – automatically charging batteries at low-cost (or even negative) prices and discharging when prices peak.
The phased European rollout reflects Solis' commitment to providing localised, future-ready solutions that help customers navigate a fast-changing energy landscape.
