The German government abolished the EEG levy from 1 July 2022 as well as simplifying the grid connection process to help alleviate increasing electricity prices. This tax exemption applies to multi-family houses and mixed-use properties owning a PV system with an output of up to 15 kW.VAT is no longer applied to the purchase, import, and installation of solar systems and energy storage systems. The German solar market is expected to see its biggest-ever increase across the rooftop, utility-scale, and energy storage sectors and according to research, annual installation figures in Germany are expected to reach 2GW in 2023.

The inverter, with its fuse-less design, and IP66 protection is well built for harsh environments, often required in utility scale projects for Germany.
