NINGBO, China – October 17, 2026 – Solis, a global manufacturer of solar inverters and provider of energy storage solutions, has surpassed 3 GW in total global shipments across its portfolio of 50-125kW C&I Hybrid energy storage Inverters, marking a significant milestone in the company's C&I energy storage business.

The milestone comes as the company expands its offering for businesses looking to use more of their own solar power, manage peak demand and gain greater control over energy costs.

From Product Innovation to Global Scale

Solis shipped its first 50 kW C&I hybrid energy storage inverters on 7 July 2025. As demand grew, the company added more power ratings to give installers and businesses greater choice when designing their systems. The first small batches of the 125 kW model shipped on 20 December 2025, followed by a steady shift into scaled production and deliveries to a global market.

Combined global shipments across the 50–125 kW range have now passed 3 GW.

"Surpassing 3 GW in global shipments across our C&I Hybrid energy storage Inverter portfolio is an important milestone for Solis," said Yiming Wang, General Manager, Solis. "Since our first 50 kW shipments, we've built a range that gives businesses more choice in how they use solar and storage. We can now support more types of projects in more markets, and that's what makes this milestone matter."

Built around how businesses use energy

Commercial and industrial customers have increasingly diverse energy requirements.

Depending on local electricity markets and project conditions, businesses may want to use more of their own solar power, manage peak demand, reduce energy costs, strengthen backup power or make their energy systems more flexible.

Solis offers a range of power ratings and system configurations, giving businesses and installation partners the flexibility to match each system to the site's energy needs and local market conditions.

Supporting the next stage of growth

The 3 GW total covers cumulative inverter shipments across the range and global markets. Building that volume has required Solis to expand production and coordinate supply and delivery as new models entered the range.

The milestone demonstrates the importance of combining product development, manufacturing scale, supply chain capabilities and localized market support.

"C&I energy storage is not a one-size-fits-all market," said Kun Zhang, Product Center Director, Solis. "Different markets require different power levels, system configurations and operating strategies. Our approach is to build a versatile product platform with a high level of adaptability, enabling it to meet diverse market and application requirements."

More Than a Number

Three gigawatts represents more than a shipment figure. It reflects thousands of commercial and industrial energy applications across different markets, each with its own energy profile and operational requirements.

Alongside its hardware range, Solis is expanding Solis AI to help customers manage how they generate, store and use electricity. Development is focused on helping businesses respond to changing electricity prices and site demand, making better use of their solar power and battery storage. For customers, the aim is practical: less time managing the system and more value from it over the course of the year.

The company is also expanding local service teams and technical support in the markets it serves. The focus is on helping installers and customers throughout a project's life, from system planning and commissioning to day-to-day operation and troubleshooting.

As shipments grow, these investments will bring technical expertise closer to customers and help local partners support a wider range of commercial and industrial installations.
